Actress Jennifer Freeman, from “My Wife and Kids,” is charged with assaulting her NBA star husband, Earl Watson. In lawful papers filed by Watson last week, Jennifer is said to have attacked Watson because he was suspicious about a text message she had received at about close to midnight. Watson had also filed for divorce following the event, seeking full custody of their 10-month-old daughter.

TMZ reports that, according to court documents, Jennifer Freeman had received a text message at after 11 p.m. Aug. 1, and a suspicious Earl Watson who decided to check her phone. Watson said that Jennifer became so angry that he took the phone she began to hit him “twice in the face with her right open hand.” According to court papers, she than grabbed and bit into Watson’s right wrist, “breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.” After biting the wrist, Watson said Jennifer proceeded to chomp down on his chest, making him bleed once more. But she didn’t stop there. Watson claims Jennifer even went after him with an iron, but he was able to knock the object from her hand before she could add any more damage.
Jennifer Freeman, now 24, is well known for her role as Claire Kyle within the television sitcom “My Wife and Kids.”
Earl and Jennifer fall right back in love again
Earl Watson, who played with the Indiana Pacers last season, seems to have had a change of heart. On Thursday, Watson reportedly decided to withdraw his divorce petition. According to the gossip news site, the two are reconciling with “plans for making their marriage work.”
Jennifer Freeman and Earl Watson were married May 17, 2009, at TV producer Ed Weinberger’s Los Angeles mansion. Their first and only child, Isabella Amour Watson, was born last year on Oct. 16.
